Debra McGrath, CRNP

Debra McGrath, CRNP, Director of IT Services/Senior Vice President

Debra McGrath, CRNP, senior vice president, heads Coker Group's Technology service line. With a primary focus on clinical information technology, her role includes oversight of technology acquisition, implementation, and utilization in the ambulatory and inpatient setting. Under her oversight, the company provides technology support services to practices and healthcare entities across the nation.

A Perinatal Clinical Nurse Specialist and experienced Nurse Practitioner, Ms. McGrath spent much of her career in nursing before moving into management, and has dedicated years to healthcare-related academic pursuits. Ms. McGrath is an expert on applications in ambulatory settings, federally qualified and community health centers, nurse practitioner practice, patient data collection, warehousing and reporting, and handheld and wireless technologies.

Ms. McGrath holds a B.S.N. from West Chester University, an M.S.N. in Perinatal Nursing, University of Pennsylvania, and a post-masters certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Wilmington College. She is Board Certified in Family Practice, American Nursing Credentialing Center.

She is a well-published author and experienced speaker presenting for associations and organizations throughout the country.

Hal Carr

Hal Carr, Vice President

Hal Carr, a proven leader, consultant, and business information technology innovator, serves as vice president with Coker Group, working out of Coker's Dallas office. Mr. Carr has spent his career applying IT solutions to business problems. With over a decade in healthcare IT managing hospital information systems, payer systems and ambulatory EHR/PMS system solutions, he has a proven record of supplying strategic technology expertise, including the positioning and deployment of EHR/PMS systems in the ambulatory space to large-scale multi-specialty organizations.

Mr. Carr has a degree in English Literature from University of Kentucky and Computer Science from Purdue University. He is also the author of several IT implementation methodologies including a comprehensive EHR deployment process.
